Although Pharrell Williams' new solo material hasn't quite performed to expectation, the hip hop superstar continues to explore all the avenues available to him. This time, it's jewellery that has taken Pharrell's fancy.
Having expressed an interest in designing to Luis Vuitton's Marc Jacobs, Williams had a chance to work on watch design for company Jacob The Jeweller, which got him thinking. "I told Marc that I wanted to do jewellery for LV. I got my designs and ideas together. I did a lot of research," he said. But don't expect understated elegance, Pharrell's watches are going be "super regal" - whatever that means.
Those wondering whether or not Pharrell's watch line will exude style you can rest assured, the man was named "The Best Dressed Man In The World" in 2005 by Esquire Magazine.
In My Mind, Williams' highly anticipated solo album, will be released on February 14.
